Eye Area and Lip ProductsEye creams can be expensive. Are they worth it? Here are the pros and cons. Just starting to use a simple moisturizer around the eye area will help (yes - even Cetaphil). The more expensive eye creams contain various antioxidants, Vitamin A cousins, Vitamin K, anti-glycation compounds, etc which are marketed for specific the problems of eyelid skin. In my opinion, they are worth it but you may need to try several to find the one that suits you best. Eyelid skin is thinner, lacks oil glands, is prone to dark circles and to irritation. If a cream stings, burns or turns you red, stop using it!

Body CareShea Sugar Almond Honey Body ScrubFall brings dry skin with central heating and dry air. Time for a good moisturizer. The drug store brands, like Cetaphil, CeraVe, and Vanicream are great. And if you want something a bit more elegant, that goes on very creamy but not heavy or oily, this Replenish Hydrating Cream is great. Many of my patients swear by it. It's more expensive than the drugstore brands, but certainly less than the high-end moisturizers. Price: $6.99
