SkinTour does provide links to other web sites but is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these other sites.

Who has access to my information? Only those employees that are responsible for handling your account have access to your information. Additionally, employees in our technical department may have access to your information in order to conduct routine checks on the integrity of our system and in order to perform necessary maintenance work. Additionally, judicial requests by a duly authorized court will require us to divulge certain information regarding your account should that situation arise. Finally, should our company ever be bought or sold, your account information would then become the property of the new owner/entity.

Users who purchase products may receive promotional emails. Users may opt-out of our mailing list during the order process. If a user does not opt-out during the order process they may log into their account and update their preferences. If a user does not create an account during their order they may opt-out of our mailing list by using the supplied link on any of our emails. Furthermore, the user may create an account using their email address and opt-out from their account page.

Users may receive promotional emails from SkinTour if they register for an account without purchasing a product. Users may opt-out of our mailing list for specials and promotions during the registration process. If a user does not opt-out during the registration process, they may log into their account and update their preferences.

Users may change their address or other personal information in their account. Users may edit or delete any of their personal information by logging in and following the “edit this information” links in their account. If an account is not created during a purchase, a user may choose to create one later with the same email address used for the purchase.

Surveys or Contests. We may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. We use secure servers that utilize the industry’s standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. SSL is state of the industry technology that allows for a secure and safe purchase transaction.

We take all reasonable security measures to protect stored personal and financial information. Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing. SkinTour will not provide our customers’ personal or financial information to other companies or individuals.

We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

TRUSTe Statement

SkinTour has been awarded TRUSTe’s Privacy Seal signifying that this privacy policy and practices have been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with TRUSTe’s program requirements including transparency, accountability and choice regarding the collection and use of your personal information. The TRUSTe program does not cover information that may be collected through downloadable software.
