Product of the Month for October 2011You can easily spend over $50 on a moisturizer. And you can also get affordable ones for under $20 (like Cetaphil, CeraVe, and Vanicream). This Replenish Hydrating Cream at $45 is certainly more than the drugstore brands, but many of my patients with dry skin swear by it. It has a very elegant feel to it, and it goes on with the right amount of creaminess. A very nice moisturizer that helps combat the dry air of fall and the start of central heating. Dr. Irwin

Body CareShea Sugar Almond Honey Body ScrubFall brings dry skin with central heating and dry air. Time for a good moisturizer. The drug store brands, like Cetaphil, CeraVe, and Vanicream are great. And if you want something a bit more elegant, that goes on very creamy but not heavy or oily, this Replenish Hydrating Cream is great. Many of my patients swear by it. It's more expensive than the drugstore brands, but certainly less than the high-end moisturizers. Price: $6.99
