Are little white bumps a normal reaction to a salicylic acid peel?Jul 08, 2011 I got a salycilic acid peel on my face and now I have little white bumps on my cheeks and around my mouth that are very itchy. Is this a normal reaction to a salycilic acid peel?
This is a little tough to answer not knowing how long ago you had it. If you just had the peel a day or two ago, they could be due to a mild irritant reaction. Then, bland creams like Cetaphil or a little drugstore hydrocortisone .5% for a few days should help. If it's been longer than that, you should call the doctor's office where you had the peel.
