Can brown spots be something serious?Oct 11, 2010 I was told by my family physician to use "Mother of Pearl" cream to help with a brown spot I have on the side of my eye since it is getting larger. After reading your tips on brown spots, I am making an appointment with a dermatologist to make sure it is nothing serious.
Thank you for writing this. You did exactly the right thing!! There are brown spots that can be melanomas or lentigo maligna or "pre melanomas" - also called dysplastic nevi.
