How to Find a Good Dermatologist?Mar 12, 2010 I listen to Paula Begoun's radio show on the internet every week. I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. I have gone to several dermatologists for my rosacea and nothing has worked so far. Can you please give me a few recommendations in my area. My face has burned for years and I have been given steroid medications, cortisone medications and IPL treatments have been given but nothng has worked so far.
Thank you very much.
NOTE: I just wished I lived in Seattle to go to you. Isn't Paula's show fun (and informative)!! On this site, there are some suggestions for different areas. Also, in my book The Surgery Free Makeover, there is a whole chapter on how to find a good dermatalogist and/or laser center. Look for a dermatologist who does NOT use steroids (cortisone) on the face except rarely and one who is good at diagnosing contact dermatitis . It's very possible that one of your products is causing the problem or aggravating it. Dr. I Posted in Rosacea
