Is my fat pad damaged?Jun 09, 2010 How can you tell if your fat pad has been damaged?
Okay - you might have to help me a little on this one. Which fat pad are we talking about? Since we have them all over us and most of us would love to get rid of a few on our bodies, I'm going to assume we're talking about the face??? The fat pads in our faces tend to slowly shrink as we age. If we are overweight or traditionally built (I love this term from author Alexander McCall) women, then the fat pads tend to change as we age but maybe not as noticeably as for women who are low body weight. I hope that makes sense. Dr. I |
