As you know, it contains multiple plant based "lightening" agents.  Like the prescription hydroquinones these products don't really "lighten" or "bleach" anything.  They work mostly by blocking the ability of your cells (melanocytes) to make more pigment.

You may be the perfect person for it because if you truly have moderate or severe pigment problems,  it won't be strong enough.  For someone like yourself who already has good skin and few pigment issues, using it regularly should help prevent future problems, assuming you are sunscreening every day of course.

Unfortunately, if you truly have melasma or a lot of pigment from sun damage or acne, this product is probably not the right one.  Lumixyl is  better for maintenance.   Dr. I
