Is there any effective treatment for thin eyebrows?

Are any of the products that promise eyebrow regrowth proven to be effective?
Some of my patients who have used Latisse on their eyelashes successfully have reported to me that they have also tried it on their eyebrows.   Most have said that they saw results in that area as well.  I have not seen any studies on this issue though.
