Problems after a CO2 laser with scarring?

I had 2 deep and active treatments for my moderate acne scarring. Before the 2nd treatment, the aesthetician, who I felt confident with, said that I had tolerated the first treatment very well and she would amp it up, since I said I felt it would be the last one. It's been about 3 years now and I am left with some scarring where the scabbing was severe. What to do? I am considering another laser treatment.

In my opinion, aestheticians and other ancillary personnel should not be using CO2 lasers.  CO2 lasers have huge potential to improve scars and wrinkles but they also have more potential than other lasers to cause problems, including scars.  The Lumenis Active/Deep Fx system is a COw laser.

Now ……..and you’re going to think this is really odd……..CO2 lasers can be used to improve the scars you got, if the correct settings are used.  It may take several treatments.   Please though…….find a board certified dermatologist expert in laser work near you, who can help you with this problem.    More on CO2 lasers.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
