I'm glad you asked about this because there are a couple of good issues that you raise.   The first is about collagen growth.  All laser and radiofrequency (sound wave) technologies work in part by stimulating collagen growth.  It's really not something unique to that particular system.  The question really is more about which systems do it best and with what end result.  This system really has no claim to doing it better and, because it's relatively new, is relatively unproven.  If it were my money, why not go for a system with a longer, proven track record?

Also Syneron, in my opinion, doesn't have the greatest track record as a company.  They tend to try to do "combined" or "new" technology systems of limited or unproven benefit.  These systems are easier for their marketers to market but can be of limited value to consumers and doctors. (Look up their old "Galaxy" system.)

Also, I found the "before and afters" on their site uninspiring.  I think most of us view photos somewhat skeptically because they are so easy to alter now.  For one of their photos, they chose a women who clearly had active acne.  In the after photo, the acne was gone and so of course she'd look better - odd to choose that photo!  Hope this helps.  Dr. I
