What filler would be most similiar to Cosmoplast which is no longer available?Jan 28, 2011 Dr. Irwin,
I have used cosmoplast before, but, it is not available anymore. What do you think of Preville? Jevederm? Are they comparable?
thank you
The nice quality that Cosmoplast had was how well it filled smaller, more subtle lines without causing any bumps or ridges. The only comparable product in the United States right now is the Restylane Fine Lines product. It's less bulky and better suited to small lines. You may, though, be fine with the regular Restylane or Juvederm Ultra (not Plus) depending on the depth of the line and the skill of your injector. I would stay away from Preville until it has a longer track record here. Dr. I |
