What would you recommend as a first step to enlarged pores on the cheeks. I am 48. Thanks Deanna
Hi Deanna.  If they aren't too large, I would recommend Fraxel (the original - not the Fraxel CO2).  You will probably need to do a series of at least 3 to see a real difference.  If they are larger, maybe even due to fairly active acne when you were younger, I'd recommend a CO2 fractionated laser like the DEKA DOT or the Lumenis Active/Deep Fx.  You will get more tightening and some wrinkle reduction also with the CO2 laser so at 48 consider those issues as well.  If you go with the CO2, a common scenario would be 1-2 treatments.  Fraxel is  less expensive than the CO2.  Although that depends also on how many treatments of each you need.
