When is it okay to do Thermage after Botox?Mar 27, 2011 Is it safe to have thermage done around 2 days after botox for crow's fleet and forehead lines? Will it cause the migration of botox to other regions and thus causing complication or ineffectiveness?
It's fine to do the Thermage the next day even after Botox. It doesn't take the Botox long to bind to the proper receptors at the junction between the nerve fiber and the muscle. And, once it's bound, it's bound - it really doesn't migrate. I ask my patients to be a careful for 6-8 hours but, just to be extra safe, wait until the next day for Thermage. Dr. I |
