A question from Nigeria about acne.
Thank you! I have to confess I’m a bit confused because you say you are struggling with the acne but seem to like your products even though they aren’t working well. A good start with any type of acne except the most severe type is in the link here and here for other reader’s acne questions.
You bring up a good point in that many acne sufferers confuse the dark mark left for months when acne is healing with true scarring which is an indentation. Look closely at your face and you can usually tell the difference. If you have true scars with indentations, you may need a doctor to help you, often including oral antibiotics for awhile or even Accutane (can be expensive though). If it’s mostly darker marks that are not indented then, in addition to the regimen linked above, you MUST use a sunscreen every morning and a hat whenever you are outside to help prevent them.
