Can the tip of the nose be lifted without surgery?

Hi Dr. Irwin, Can the tip of the nose be lifted without surgery?

Yes, a little with certain fillers.  This requires some skill.  Some of the better cosmetic dermatologists are good at it.  I think though that a facial plastics ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor is usually better at it IF THEY DO IT.   The problem is that they don’t all offer it.  Many would prefer to just do surgery.  Really do your homework/research on this one.  You may need to do consults with 3-4 doctors before you find the right one.  It does need to be repeated generally 1-2 times a year so keep that in mind.  Don’t let anyone put a permanent filler anywhere, especially your nose.    Hope this helps.  Dr. I

One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
