Concerns about finding the right cleanser.

hi, I'm almost 40 & have sensitive skin that is easily irritated. I also have some monthly hormonal breakouts by my chin. I'm having a hard time finding a cleanser that doesn't dry my skin out really badly. My skin is clog prone.I see you recommend Cetaphil gentle cleanser. I'd like to try it but am concerned that the fatty alcohols will clog my pores and that the sodium lauryl sulfate might be too irritating, also worried this cleanser might not clean well enough and clog my pores. i wear very little makeup though. Can you reassure me? Thanks, I'm at the end of my rope!

The vast majority of people, do very well with either CeraVe or Cetaphil cleansers – both drugstore products. Check out our list of cleansers including organic cleansers.

I recommend the Lemon Cleanser.

Hope this helps!

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
