Confusion about serums and creams!

Hi Dr Irwin It is confusing with so many types of serums and creams that one need to use. What are the correct steps...wash, moisturise, serum ( or retinoids), night cream? During the day, what goes on last? SPF before or after moisturiser? thank you Ivy426

I think a lot of people feel the way you do.   Here’s information that addresses this question because, truthfully, a good regimen needs to be customized to you.

Also, a good aesthetician may be very helpful!

Hope this helps,  Dr. I

One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
