Flaky, Dry, Itchy Scalp (#3 of 3)

This is the last of three parts on causes, natural remedies, and prescription fixes!

There are prescriptions your dermatologist can give you that will help. Loprox shampoo and cream (for the face or affected body areas) are ones we frequently use but there are others too. Rarely, if it’s really severe, an anti-yeast oral medication like fluconazole may be prescribed.

See your dermatologist for prescriptions if you need them. Remember also that some prescription medications will make seb derm worse, particularly prednisone and oral antibiotics.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
