How do I get rid of razor bumps and ingrown hairs on my legs?

How do I get rid of razor bumps and ingrown hairs on my legs? There are a lot of them! They are especially along the back of my thighs.

If your hair is brown or black, really and truly the best method for most people is laser hair removal.  Be sure you go to a reputable doctor’s office for this.  More info on laser hair removal.

In the meantime, there are other low tech suggestions.  Shave with a good, sharp razor and shaving cream or wax at a good local salon.  Avoid wearing tight clothing that rubs on the area – it really does help.    Dr. I

One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
