If you have to travel a good distance for Fraxel, is there a way to make it even more effective?

Hi, I live in alaska so cant come in every 4wks for a repeat of the faxel lazer so can you go a little deeper on just one treatment and how much does it cost.?? John turner turnerjcj2000@yahoo.com

John –  Basically Fraxel works best done in a series of 3-5 depending on your situation.  It’s possible to do a more aggressive treatment but, if you can really only get one treatment, you may be better off considering a pixilated (fractionated) carbon dioxide laser.  It’s possible to get more improvment with one  CO2 treatment especially with acne scarring or serious sun damage/wrinkles.

If you are travelling, keep in mind that you will NOT want to get on a plane after a CO2 laser treatment for 3-7 days depending on the aggresiveness of the CO2 laser settings.  You will need some recovery time with this laser but one treatment will be more effective than one aggressive Fraxel treatment.  You CAN get on a plane a day after a Fraxel but you may be red and will need to apply the post-treatment cream  you are given  hourly on the plane.  Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
