Is it safe to use Botox while doing a series of Sculptra injections?

I have had three sculptra injections done the last one two months ago is it safe to have my regular Botox on forehead and around the eyes plus fillers around the mouth. I would every much appreciate your advice with many thanks

Yes it is……… but with two exceptions.   Don’t have the Botox/Dysport and the Sculptra done the same day.  Wait 24-48 hours at least.  And don’t do your Sculptra massage within 6 hours of having your Botox/Dysport done.  The Botox/Dysport will bind or set in the muscles by then.  More on Botox problems.

Because Sculptra is reconstituted (mixed) with sterile water, there is that extra water in your skin for the first day or two.   If you have the Botox injected the same day as the Sculptra, there are cases where the Botox diffused out away from the intended location due to the extra water in the tissue.  More on Sculptra problems.

Hope this helps,  Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
