Is the Vivite line really being taken off the market?

Hi Dr. Irwin, I read that you used Vivite Night Renewal Cream. I used to also, but just came to the end of my jar to realize that it's no longer being made/distributed. Do you have a suggested replacement glycolic cream for it? Thanks! -B

For all of us who really admire certain Vivite products, let me do a little sleuthing on this.  It may be a recent Allergan decision or a rumour.    Sometimes lines are rebranded also, but still in existence.    My favorites are the Night Renewal 20% glycolic in a very moisturizing, stable base and the Replenish Hydrating Cream – a moisturizer for very dry skin that I sometimes refer to as La Mer on a budget!

One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
