My moles are changing!

Hello Dr Irwin I have a couple (4 actually) of moles that it seems a couple of times during the warmer months they raise up crack open and bleed a little but then seem to settle down and heal up during the cooler months if that makes any sense. Curious if that typical mole behavior?

Okay ……….so you absolutely must go get these checked.   A dermatologist would be best but, if one is not available, have your primary care doctor look at these.    It is just not worth the risk.   If one of these is a melanoma, you can be completely cured by surgery if diagnosed early.  If diagnosed late, melanoma is often fatal.

A good site is for information on moles.  And, read more here.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
