New filler Belotero – is it helpful?

Does your office use Belotera as a filler? I just read a very positive article about it. Thank you, Kelly

Just some basics – Belotero is a hyaluronic acid filler made by Merck and recently approved by the FDA in the U.S. It’s been available in most other parts of the world for longer. Kelly –  the answer to the question depends on what you are trying to accomplish with it. Belotero is formulated to be thinner/lighter and flow more easily into small or fine lines or areas where you don’t want much volume. For example, it would be a good choice for fine lines on the upper lip or to give the border of the lips just a little more definition without adding volume. It would not be a good choice to fill in marionette’s lines or the nasolabial fold, for example. One question or criticism of it has been that, in some people, it doesn’t seem to last very long. It’s safety record so far seems to be good.

Hope this helps,

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
