Just exfoliate once a week when using Renova and many people don't need to exfoliate at all.  Use a very gentle exfoliant.  I like the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (a rice powder). It's... more

Generally, with Renova, you don't need to exfoliate much if at all.  This is because the Renova/retinoid helps to slough off the old, dead superficial cells faster.  It's kind of like a... more


RE: the Clarisonic I purchased this product recently and think it is wonderful, but want to make sure I'm not damaging my skin by using it in any way. I use retin-a, which makes me peel...and I would often have dull, dry looking skin. With this product, I find my skin always looks radiant and the peeling is almost non-existant b/c I'm exfoliating everyday. That said, I wonder...can using something too abrasive cause sagging and lost of tigthness in the skin? Thanks
