I would avoid both of these! There is little or no evidence that either of them work for wrinkles or anything else. The dermarollers are interesting but have potential for harm also.... more

Collagen treatment where they roll a roller over your face that has fine spikes and may cause a little bleeding to induce your own body to produce collagen. What are your thoughts on this and does it work?

I read your blog post regarding at-home laser devices, which you said usually do not work. However, I have been hearing about the Palovia Skin Renewing Laser on Paula Begoun's radio show and on QVC. Here is what the brochure says about the device:

How effective are the home-use photo-rejuvenation devices (like Omnilux New-U, DPL System, and LightStim) for wrinkles and hyperpigmentation? Worth the money? 2. I had the Restyln filler in the past. However, due to the economy today, I am unable to have the restyln filler, but would like to have a filler comparable to the Restyln, but at a lower cost. Is there anything available or are there any Dermatology schools, where the cost would be less because it is a school under the direction of professional guidance, availble in New York? My family reunion will be held in August 2009. I am 60 and do find that the filler has lifted my face, it seems I am a drooper. face becomes squared off...I am hoping you can guide me in the right direction so that I can some how maintain this procedure during these challanging economic times! 1.
