What is the best treatment for acne scarring in the temple area of your face?

If the scars are rolling scars, it doesn’t matter whether they are in the temple area or on the cheek, for example.    The best treatment is generally subscision combined with a laser like the Fraxel (less deep) or fractioned CO2 like the DEKA DOT or Lumenis Active/Deep FX systems.   They can often be done the same day to minimize down time.  More on acne scars.

Other types of acne scars like “ice pick” or “boxcar” scars are harder to treat no matter where they are on the face.    Techniques like punch excision, punch grafting, or just excision combined with the lasers above are usually more effective for these types. More on acne scar treatments.
