What about the filler Selphyl. Is it the best filler?

What about the filler Selphyl. Is it the best filler? How long do the effects last and is there downtime?

I’m not recommending Selphyl at this time.  There are two issues with any new filler: safety and how well does it work? I think it’s pretty clear that Selphyl is safe as long as blood samples between patients aren’t mixed up.  If your sample is mixed in the room you are in, you can be sure that the injection is coming from your blood.

It’s way less clear how well it works and how long it lasts because there is almost no published data on skin.  There is a lot of marketing and I would say beware of marketing.  It’s been used in the orthopedic world with variable success for a variety of conditions.  In the skin world, the 50 million dollar question is – is it better than Sculptra?  It’s very expensive  and so far I would say don’t waste your money until it’s proven to work well and last at least a year.   Dr I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
