What can I do about small scars on the face after a procedure?

Hi Dr. Irwin, I have been reading your articles and blogs for several months now. I have a question: I had facial warts removal surgery by electrotrautory ( think that's what it's called) 8 months ago and it left me with some depressed scarring on the face. And I'd like to know what can I do to remove these scars? Appreciate you could answer my question, many thanks!!!!! Ellie

Ellie –  you didn’t give me your age, but in general the Fraxel (a fractionated erbium laser) works well for small, depressed scars.  It’s used frequently to treat smaller, depressed acne scars.  Usually a series of 3 or so is needed, so don’t give up after one treatment. Hope this helps.  Dr. I

One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
