Would Botox work for upper lip lines?

I am 78 tears old and have deep upper lip lines. Would botox work for me?

To make a long story short –  no!!   Botox in the upper lip lines softens them a little.  But at 78, my guess is that you probably have moderately deep ones (normal!).  In your case, a combination of a carbon dioxide laser (more info on that here), a little filler like Juvederm and a few drops of Botox, will give you the best result.

If you are getting Botox in other areas of your face anyway, then by all means ask your doctor what he/she would think about a few drops in your upper lip area.    Dr. I

One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
