For normal to oily skin with little or mild acne
This regimen is designed for younger skin that is normal, which can include an oily T-zone, or tending to oily, but without much acne.
This Kit has products that will control normal to more significant oil production so you don't get that sheen when the weather is warm or humid. And it has a repair product to deal with the beginnings of brown spots and fine lines.
The Kit also has something to spot treat your pimples when hormones or stress might cause a sudden breakout. If you have dark eyes or dark hair those occasional breakouts might leave a dark mark for a month or two.
If you're not sure whether this Kit is right for you, take the Skin Care Test.

I chose this Kit for normal or combination skin that needs a good basic regimen that won't clog pores or promote oil and that will help with mild to moderate acne breakouts and brown spots. This regimen gives you an alpha-hydroxy cleanser for moderate oil and acne, specialized products for light to moderate acne, a product to treat spots, and a non-clogging sunscreen.
It's best to use these products together in a regimen, but you can also browse through the individual products below. |

Sunscreen/Oil Control and Acne Care
Colorescience
SunForgettable Powder SPF 30 - All Clear
Daily/Water/Sports/Melasma - This is a great invention, and I use it all the time. It comes in a small tube, with a self-contained brush. You just shake the powder down, and brush on the powder. The powder stays on your skin, and the high zinc and titanium content gives you great UVA and UVB blocking. Great for a humid climate (or oily skin), because it goes on dry and leaves no oily, greasy sheen. Expensive, but worth it. Layer it over a sunscreen lotion for maximum protection at altitude or in intense sun.

Anti-Aging and Wrinkle Repair/Oil Control and Acne Care
Neostrata
Ultra Smoothing Lotion 10 AHA
Oily/Alpha Hydroxy - This lotion is better than the Ultra Smoothing Cream if your skin is quite oily and acne prone. This light, nongreasy lotion helps keep the skin smooth and to reverse sun damage by building collagen and speeding natural exfoliation. Use a small amount over entire face. Good choice for teens to early 30s. Budget saver.
