For very oily and very acne prone skinIf your acne is very bad, or you're getting cysts or scarring, you should see a dermatologist. Call today because many good dermatologists have waits of several months. In the meantime, use these products to get you started in the right direction. Please also see my Acne In Depth article. If you're not sure whether this regimen is right for your skin profile, take the Acne Test or the more detailed Skin Care Test. If you're young and have very oily and very acne prone skin, then this regimen should help. I put together a complete skin care product kit that targets oil and acne control. You can buy as a kit all together or individually. And good luck!

MoisturizerReplenish Hydrating CreamFall brings dry skin with central heating and dry air. Time for a good moisturizer. The drug store brands, like Cetaphil, CeraVe, and Vanicream are great. And if you want something a bit more elegant, that goes on very creamy but not heavy or oily, this Replenish Hydrating Cream is great. Many of my patients swear by it. It's more expensive than the drugstore brands, but certainly less than the high-end moisturizers. Price: $45.00
