Some SkinTour visitors have commented, very understandably, that the anti-aging products I recommend are expensive. But antioxidant and anti-aging products (like cell growth factors) are one area where I do think you need to pay more to get an effective product. The drugstore versions of these just don't have enough of the critical ingredients.

I have used and recommended SkinCeuticals antioxidants products for many years. For many years the SkinCeuticals company has been on the cutting edge of these products and the research behind them. They were one of the first companies to combine 3 different antioxidants in the same product to get a synergistic, beneficial effect.

• The Phoretin CF Serum is best for oily, acne prone skin and humid climates.
• The C&E Ferrulic is best for dryer/normal skin types.
• Their newest product Phloretin CF Gel is best for normal skin types or sensitive skin. The gel comes in a more travel-friendly non-glass container. I don't have this on SkinTour yet.

The downside of these antioxidants has been the glass bottles with the dropper tops (why can’t they do better packaging????) and the sometimes unpleasant smell. And, of course, the price.
