  What filler complications should you watch out for? First, any time there is a needle in your skin, a bruise is possible. Bruise prevention! There are multiple ways to avoid them. Some you need to do and some the doctor needs to do. Let's cover what you can do in this Tip.

ALWAYS, unless you need it for medical reasons, no aspirin, Advil/ibuprofen, Aleve/naprosyn, Excedrin, and prescription antiinflammatories for a week prior to the treatment. Tylenol is fine. If you're on Coumadin/warfarin, stay on it but let your doctor know. Then, it really does seem to help to start the tiny, homeopathic Arnica tablets the day before. Get your primary care doc's okay though if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure. Also, other things to try - no extra Vitamin E for 1 week, no alcohol or garlic for 2 days before, eating pinapple twice a day for a day or two before.
