Get Rid of Your Crow's FeetJan 07, 2009
Your crow's feet (who thought of that term anyway?) are a badge of life - maybe an unwanted one. The best approach is to use different treatments depending on your age and their depth. If you're young and they're just starting, a little Botox is a good solution. But after another decade or two, that alone won't really do it. This is one reason for starting in your 30s-40s with some collagen building, like long wave lasers, Fraxel, or Thermage. And don't forget to use sunscreen on this area. If you're over 40, combining collagen building, Botox, and perhaps a filler like Cosmoderm or Cosmoplast should soften your crow's feet. Don't forget that if your temples are getting really hollow or your brows are sagging, that may be contributing too. Read more about Thermage, the skin tightening treatment. Or more about the Fraxel laser. Read about hollowing at the temples or eyebrows dropping in Dr. Irwin's guide to Forehead Issues. |
