Anti-Aging – Beyond the Face

It is easy to focus only on your face when considering anti-aging procedures and products, but don’t forget to consider these other important areas of the body:

1. Hands – the hands are a quick giveaway of one’s age.  Veins due to volume loss and brown spots from sun damage are tell-tale signs.  Dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, can replace the lost volume, and lasers, such as an IPL, can easily remove brown spots and restore hands to their youthful appearance.

2. Ears – sagging ear lobes are often apparent in older patients.  The good news is dermal fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane or even Sculptra can help replace the lost volume.

3. Neck & Chest – You want the skin on your neck and chest to match your face.  There are several different laser options for different levels of sun damage.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
