Exfoliating Before Applying Self-Tanner

You can extend some summer color into the fall with a self-tanner.  Last week I recommended the Giese "Sun" self-tanner.  What about exfoliating before applying the self-tanner?

The most luxurious, expensive way is to let someone else do it! Call your favorite salon/spa that has body treatments and schedule a whole body scrub. Some of them are heavenly, and your skin will feel like satin.

If that’s too time consuming or expensive, buy a sugar or salt based body scrub. Beware of the ones with oils in them. They can leave a slippery film all over your shower area. Then, use your hands to scrub away those dead cells. Don’t forget to do it twice over your elbows, knees, ankles, and feet. Use a soft, brush with a long handle for the back. Then towel off and apply the self-tanner. Your skin will feel so smooth, and the self-tanner should last much longer and be even.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
