Good Skin on Your Body

If you’re already sun damaged, be very careful this summer not to do more. Think about fun "surfer" rash guards to protect your torso and arms. Wear hats.  Scrubs also help but don’t overdo them. Once a week is good all over using a natural bristle body brush with scrub on it.

I’m still looking for that perfect scrub. The closest I’ve found are the Eminence scrubs, like the Cranberry Pomegranate Sugar Scrub. Organic, fragrant but not too cloying, and not too greasy so that they don’t leave an oil slick on your shower floor or bath.  They’re expensive, but I get five or so scrubs out of each tub.

See Dr. Irwin’s new article on the Clarisonic skin care cleansing device. Is it worth it?

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
