Great Antioxidant: SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Gel

Many of my patients ask if they can get rid of their wrinkles without Botox injections. The answer really depends on  which wrinkles, your age, and the depth of your wrinkles.

Botox relaxes the overactive muscles that can cause frown lines, nasal scrunch lines, and crow’s feet.  That’s what it does best.  However, for patients under 40 with fine wrinkles and minimal sun damage, there are skincare products that will help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and prevent more wrinkles, especially if you are not interested in in-office procedures just yet.  Either way, a good antioxidant is a great supplement for any skin type.

One of my favorite antioxidants is the SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Gel (the gel version is new). This product will help subtly correct sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation to help your skin look smoother and more youthful overall.

Apply 4-5 drops to your face, neck and chest in the morning after you wash your face. Follow with your moisturizer and a good sunscreen.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
