Home Hair Removal Devices
Do home hair removal devices really work? At the national Laser Controversies conference I attended in San Diego, there was a section on home use devices. Some of these, the hair removal ones in particular, have been selling well (initially) but there’s been considerable consumer disappointment.
If you have a small area only to treat these may be useful, but most are slow and not very effective longer term. I would vote no on the Tria and the NoNo. There are several though, including one made by Solta, now available in Europe, that look promising for the future. None work well on grey hair.
