New Products for Hyperpigmentation

SkinCeuticals is releasing Advanced Pigment Corrector and SkinMedica is releasing Lytera.   Both are attempts to address pigment without hydroquinone.

There is “soft” science supporting both of these in that their results match the results of 4% hydroquinone prescriptions.  These claims are really not proven yet.  We’ll only know after thousands of women/men have used them.  It would be wonderful if the results lived up to the marketing.  So…….if money is no object, try them!  We will be tracking our patients and giving feedback as time goes on as well.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
