Skin Creams for Brown Spots

Please remember that none of these work perfectly. Sadly, the most effective are still the hydroquinone 4% based creams (prescription in the U.S.) like Triluma which tends to be less irritating than the generic 4%, which is cheaper but more irritating.

It’s too early to really compare the two new plant based lightening creams from SkinCeuticals  (Advanced Pigment Corrector) and Skin Medica (Lytera). There are small studies from each company but no conclusive data, in my opinion.

Remember that if you spot treat with these, you may get a lighter “halo” developing around the spots if you aren’t careful.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
