Summer – Cool Protective Clothing and Who Needs It

  You need protective clothing, especially in the water, if you:

1) spend a lot of time outdoors, especially in the summer;

2) have a personal history of skin cancer or a strong family history of it;

3) have red hair, a lot of moles, or very pale skin;

4) swim outdoors or sweat a lot – both wash the sunscreen off;

5) have a history of sunburns in the past or just plain have had too much sun years ago!!

Here are the best places to get it. I love the surfer shops online for rash guards that have both fashion and function. Or try Coolibar or Sun Precautions for good sun protective clothing.

Don’t forget to protect your children, too!

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes!
