Is there a difference between Renova and Retin A Micro gel?

Hello Dr, I'm using renova for awhile..what is the diff between Renova cream 0.2% and retinal mirco gel 0.4%.?

Okay so there a lot of understandable confusion about creams that are vitamin A cousins (also called retinoids) because the names are all similiar. When you say retinal micro gel 0.4%, I’m thinking you meant Retin A micro gel 0.4%.  Renova and Retin A are basically the same thing in that they are both tretinoin (the generic name).  Renova is formulated in a more moisturizing base for dryer skin types specifically for older patients using it to repair sun damage.  The gel works also for those issues even though it’s formulated for younger, oilier skin with acne.  Retinoids work for both acne and to repair sun damage and the aging associated with it.  The difference in the percentages is usually not important except for more severe acne when the higher %s may be helpful.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
