I’m 34 – would I be a good candidate for Thermage?

Hi Dr! I am 34 and look ok for my age, but want to do Thermage just to tighten my skin back to what is was in my mid-late 20s (hopefully - would settle for any other treatment you recommend so any advice as to a better alternative is most welcome!) I want to avoid Botox/fillers as I’m worried this may interfere with the 'look' of my face (if that makes sense?) I just wanted to check something - in April this year I had a nose job and a chin implant. I am assuming those areas are now 'no go zones' for this treatment, right? Thanks so much!

We know that everyone builds collagen with Thermage (a good thing) but that not everyone sees a visible lifting and tightening.   Generally, the younger you are (late 20s – mid forties) the more visible tighening you will see, probably because there is more existing collagen to tighten, and more cells that make collagen.

Usually Thermage isn’t done right on the nose itself but because it targets the dermis and not the subdermis (where the implant and bone are), going over those areas isn’t a problem.  Each doctor is different on this though, so I would follow your dermatologist’s advice.    Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
