What to do about chest wrinkles?? I have them and don’t want them!

What to do about chest wrinkles? I have them and don't want them!

Okay –  so here’s how to start thinking about this.  First, how old are you?  The older you are the deeper the wrinkles usually and the depth determines the options to some extent.  Are the wrinkles more between your breasts or out toward the shoulder more?

Products (creams) do very little for this area but try the Vivite product for the Decolletage.  It’s the most effective one I’ve seen so far.   You want to sunscreen or double sunscreen this area every day unless it’s covered by clothing.

Secondly, is your chest sun damaged?  Do you have a lot of brown spots and a leathery look that also needs to be addressed with lasers?  The Fraxel Dual is particularly nice for chest with lots of pigment.  The new article on this laser system will be posted later this week.

Thirdly, are these partly sleep lines from your sleeping position at night?  If so, try to change your sleep positions –  not always easy!!  Maybe a new mattress needed?

And fourthly,  some combination of lasers will almost always be needed and, for some, an injectibles to add some volume back as well.  Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
