Facial swelling after laser treatments

Two days after receiving a limelight treatment at a laser center where I live, I have significant facial swelling (to the point that I cannot go out). Other than ice packs and sleeping in an elevanted position, is there anything I can do to reduce the swelling? The weekend of recovery time I expected isn\'t going to be enough, but I feel pressure to get back to work. Any advice or recommendations?

I’m not sure what a limelight treatment is.  I’m wondering if it’s a marketing name given a to a common laser treatment by that particular center?    You already listed two of the most important strategies to reduce swelling.  In addition, it really helps to reduce all salt intake and cheap carbs (anything with white flour and white sugar) for 3-4 days and drink a lot of water.  Hope that helps.  Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
