Help finding good doctors here and in other countries

Hi, Dr Irwin: I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for all your valuable and unbiased answers on so many areas I had queries on.. The products you recommend are extremely good and I've really benefitted from using them. What I really hope you can advise me is: which doctor I should go for sculptra injections in Hong Kong. I've googled, read numerous blogs, patients reviews etc but there really isn't any doctor that seem to have a good aesthetic eye and/ experience. I've also gone on the sculptra site in Hong Kong but they do not give any recommendations or data! Please do you know someone you can recommend? Thank you so much.

Thank you!   I’m linking you to our international resources or U.S. resources but I can’t vouch for everyone here personally.   These are all doctors who go to international meetings like IMCAS (Intermational Master Course on Aging Skin) and some of them are speakers.   It’s a start but not perfect.   Another way to get an idea is to checking the doctors credentials carefully for these types of things:

  • Are they board certified in their speciality?  Not all countries have this but many do.
  • Look AAD.org  –  many of the better international doctors are associated with the AAD and attend meetings here in the U.S. –  see if you can find them in the International Section
  • Did they go to a major and well known medical school?
  • Did they do residency training at a well known University or in the U.S. or Europe?
  • DON’T go just by a nice web site –  it’s too easy for just anyone to put one up.

Hope this helps,  Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
