How can I put together an optimal product regimen?

Hello Dr Irwin, I use renova at night ( luv it) and skin medica produts in the day> Can you help me put together a day routine from my produts with skin medica, so i dont repeat or over product my skin. TNS essnecial serum after i wash my face Should i use a toner? and what moisturiner from skin medica

Here’s what I would do.  It’s hard to get all the categories in …. sunscreen, Renova/Retin A (Vit A cousin), antioxidants, cell growth factors and possibly some peptides or anti-glycation options.  Forget the toners. They just don’t add much.

AM (in order)   gentle cleanser, vitamin C serum(or another antioxidants), moisturizer if needed, sunscreen

PM (in order)  gentle cleanser,  TNS Essential Serum (wait 5-10 min), moisturizer (if needed), Renova

Pick your moisturizer by your skin type, lifestyle and the season.  Lighter ones in the summer, going to the tropics, or if you’re oily.  Heavier if you’re skiing, live in the desert, etc.  It’s nice to have 3 different weights for different situations.  Personally I keep 3 around……a very light gel like the SkinCeuticals Vitamin B5 gel, a medium weight like the Emollience, and a heavy duty one like the Eminence Bluberry Soy or the Vivite Replenishing. Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
